Quit 'yer wining already.

What's the deal?:

Whine? (Why Wine?) Over the past few years, I've found very few resources for the young wine drinker. Not the Beaujolais freak, but the wine drinker 30 and under. While this isn't meant to exclude the wine aficionado rockin' it since 1973, it is designed to give those of us who are just now coming into our own grape identity. Salud!

Thank you to:

it- for an evening at la Taberna

Müs- for the many philosophical bottles

wooster/hoodie- for the many bottles/eves

Plexique and Magnanimous  for making me relax for a change

Posts for the date of March 23, 2004

Wine Spectator has an interesting pick for wine of the week this go-around.

COVEY RUN Fumé Blanc Washington 2002 (86 points, $9)

Strongly perfumy Sauvignon, with a floral kick to the citrus and herb flavors. Drink now. 22,800 cases made.

They've also taken the time to pick out some excellent history lessons such as:

King Tut Was a Red Wine Drinker, Scientists Say

God bless history.
